PrEP Tracker is designed with privacy at its core. Your health data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
PrEP Tracker ("the App") is a medication tracking app developed by an independent developer. This policy explains how the App handles your information.
PrEP Tracker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. Specifically:
The App stores the following data locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework:
This data is stored in your device's app sandbox and is protected by iOS security. It is included in your iCloud or iTunes backups if you have those enabled.
PrEP Tracker offers a home screen widget. Widget data (today's status, streak count) is shared between the app and the widget using an App Group container on your device. This data never leaves your device.
The App offers optional tip purchases ("Coffee" and "Cappuccino") processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not have access to your payment information. Purchase status is managed by RevenueCat, which processes only anonymous transaction data — no personal identifiers are shared.
If you enable reminders, the App uses local notifications scheduled on your device. No push notification service or external server is involved.
The only third-party service used is RevenueCat for in-app purchase management. RevenueCat processes anonymous transaction identifiers to verify purchases. You can review their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
The App is not directed at children under 17. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
